Kid-Tech News for Parents. Founder and editor Anne Collier started NetFamilyNews in 1999
with the premise that knowledge is power for parents at a time when tech literacy has
become an important part of parenting and providing youth safety. NetFamilyNews is a blog,
RSS Feed and email newsletter with subscribers in more than 50 countries.
Anne Collier also co-directs ConnectSafely.org with SafeKids.com's Larry Magid.
ConnectSafely is an interactive forum (and facebook group) and information site for teens,
parents, educators and everybody interested in the impact of the social Web on youth and

NetSmartz Workshop
The NetSmartz Workshop is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National
Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) and Boys & Girls Clubs of America
(BGCA). The workshop has separate places for children aged 5 to 17, parents/guardians,
educators, and law enforcement to learn more about staying safer on the internet.
NetSmartz provide presentations and age appropriate videos and games to teach online
safety in age appropriate forms. Netsmartz411.org is an online resource for searching for
answers about internet safety, computers and the web.

iSafe The Leader in Internet Safety Education
Available in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Department of Defense schools located
across the world, i-SAFE is a non-profit foundation whose mission is to educate and empower
youth to make their Internet experiences safe and responsible. i-SAFE accomplishes this
through dynamic K-12 curriculum and community outreach programs to parents, law
enforcement, and community leaders. It is the only Internet safety foundation to combine
these elements.
